交联剂对废聚乙烯醇涂料改性研究

摘要:分析了四硼酸钠交联剂对废聚乙烯醇(PVA)薄膜制得的外墙涂料性能的影响,探索了交联机理。实验比较分析了涂料改性前后的耐水性、耐碱性、耐洗刷性和耐沾污性。利用FT-IR分析手段,对交联机理进行了探索。结果表明:改性后涂膜的耐水性、耐碱性和耐洗刷性均明显提高:当交联剂浓度为1.0%.外喷量为180mL/m时,改性涂料的耐水性、耐碱性和耐洗刷性分别为2280h、768h 和5100次,较对比试样分别提高了3166.7%、2133.3%和1020.0%。通过FT-IR分析可知,交联剂四硼酸钠中的硼离子与PVA中的一OH发生缩合反应生成网状交联产物。

Abstract: The effect of sodium tetraborate used as crosslinking agent on the properties of the water-based coating based on PVA wastes was analyzed. The water resistance, alkali re sistance, scrub resistance and antifouling of the coatings before and after modification were in-vestigated. The crosslinking mechanism was also discussed via FT-IR. The results show that the significant improvement of properties of coatings modified with the crosslinking agent was observed. When the content of the crosslinking agent was 1. 0% and the external spraying a-mount was 180 ml/m,the water resistance, alkali resistance, scrub resistance of the modified coatings were 2 280 hours, 768 hours and 5 100 times respectively, which were in-creased by 3 166. 7%, 2 133. 3% and 1 020. 0% respectively as compared to that of the con-trol samples. The FT-IR indicated that a condensation between sodium tetraborate and PVA occurred to form a crosslinking structure.
