SiO,-TiO,复合颜料在涂料中的应用研究

丁浩,崔程琳,孙思佳(中国地质大学(北京)材料科学与工程学院,北京100083)摘要:基于提高SiO,-TiO,复合颤料应用水平和降低涂料成本的目的,对SiO,-TiO,复合颤料在建筑涂料中的应用进行了研究。测试分析了添加SiO,-TiO,复合颜料所制备涂料的黏度、涂膜对比率和紫外线照射对涂膜色差的影响,并与添加金红石型钛白粉的涂料进行了对比。结果显示:添加 SiO,-TiO0,复合额料与添加同比例钛白粉的涂料相比,添加15%和20%(质量分数,下同)的SiO,-TiO,复合颜料的涂料对比率大于添加同比例钛白粉的涂料,添加量均为5%和10%时涂料的对比率接近:涂膜经紫外线在600h以内照射,添加15%Si0,-Ti0,复合颜料时涂料的△E:比添加同比例钛白粉涂料的小,添加量均为10%时涂料的△E,相当:Si0,-Ti0,复合颜料在涂料中表现出的抗紫外老化性能与其对紫外线的吸收和反射行为一致。结果表明SiO,-TiO,复合颜料与金红石型钛白粉具有相当的遮盖能力和抗紫外老化性能。

Study on Application of SiO,-TiO, Composite Pigment in Coatings

(School of Materials Science and Technology,China Unieersity of Geosciences(Bejing),Beijing 00083China) Abstract:The application of SiO,-TiO, composite pigment in building coating was investi-gated in order to improve the application level of this pigment and to reduce the coating cost. The coatings based on the SiO,-TiO, composite pigment were prepared, and the effect of coat-ings viscosity, film contrast ratio and UV exposure on color difference was investigated, mean while, the performance was compared with that of coatings based on rutile TiO,. It was re-vealed that the contrast ratio of coatings based on SiO, -TiO, was higher than that of the coating based on rutile TiO, when the dosage of pigment was the same (e.g., 15% and 20% respectively) while the two coatings gave the similar contrast ratio when the dosage of pigment was 5% and 10% respectively.After exposure to UV for 600 hours, the color difference of the coatings based on 15% SiO,-TiO, was lower than that of the coatings based on 15% TiO2, whereas, the two coatings gave the similar color difference when the dosage of pigment was 10% respectively. The anti-UV performance of the coating based on SiO,-TiO, was in accord-ance with the properties of pigment such as UV absorption and reflectivity, indicating that both of SiO,-TiO, and TiO, pigment had similar hiding power and anti-UV performance.
