涂料用自修复微胶囊的制备工艺研究

摘要:涂料应用中往往会出现一些人们肉眼难以察觉的损伤。若存在一种白修复材料,能够在涂层破损时发挥自愈作用,则可以大大延长涂料的寿命。本研究制备了一种微胶囊,以填料的方式加人到涂料中,可对受损涂层起到自修复的作用。采用原位案合法,以KH-550改性的双酚F环氧树脂为囊芯原料,合成脲醛树脂包裹环氧树脂的微胶囊。探讨了原料比、乳化剂用量、搅拌速率等因素对微胶囊性能的影响。结果表明:当囊壁与囊芯的质量比为1:0.8,乳化剂SDBS用量为0.8%,搅拌速率为300r/min,酸化时间为2~3h,控温60℃时微胶囊的各项性能较好。

Abstract: Damage of coating film is not often able to be detected visually. But a self repairing materi-al, could provide a self healing role when coating suffers damage, extending the service life. This research aimed to prepare a kind of self healing microcapsules that could be added into the paint to repair the dam aged coatings. The microcapsule, with polyurea formaldehyde as shell, and KH 550 modified bisphenol F epoxy resin as the core, was synthesized by in situ polymerization. The influence of the amount of emulsifi-er, composition of raw materials and agitation rate on the performance of microcapsule were discussed. The results showed that the mass ratio of the shell materials to the core materials = 1: 0. 8 : the content of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS) 0. 8% ; agitation rate 300 r/min; reaction time 2 ~ 3 h; reaction tempera ture 60 C, the microcapsules showed good performance.

随着科技进步,涂料已广泛应用于房屋、桥梁、汽车、飞机等领域,采用不同的施工工艺涂要在物件表面,以达到保护、装饰和掩饰产品缺陷的作用。然而,涂料施工之后,涂层由于外界因素的干扰,不可避免地会产生微裂纹和局部损伤。由于人工修复的局限性,损伤部位不能及时进行修复,这样不仅会使涂膜的性能大大降低,还可能由此引发宏观裂缝。
近年来,微胶囊在聚合物基复合材料裂纹自修复方面的应用逐渐得到了重视。Kessler等将脲醛树脂包衰DCPC的微胶囊应用于E-玻纤/环氧树脂复合材料中,修复效率可达到67%;Su
脂包裹亚麻油的微胶囊。而国内方面,李岚[3]、郝焕英(4)、范传杰“等分别研究了以双环戊二烯、四氯乙烯等为芯材制备微胶
囊,虽然还未得到实际应用,但取得了一些进展,并且其潜在应用会涉及一般材料所无法达到的领域。
