Abstract: The ironstone loss, which adversely affects the real cost accounting data and makes? difficulties for the produc-tion and operation decision, is a common problem of the steel plant's material management. Therefore, it must be anato-mized the reason of the ironstone loss, and timely taken corresponding measures to strengthen the material management and put an end to the ironstone loss. This article checks and analyses a steel plant's original data and report forms of the iron-stone's acceptance inspection, being put in storage, stacking and transporting in the stock yard, and consumption of pro-duction process and other aspects from March, 2009 to September, 2011 . And it seriously looks for the reason of the iron-stone loss, and puts forward the corresponding measures to strengthen the material management, puts an end to the iron-

1问题的提出
某钢铁企业2011年9月30日仓储收、拨、存报表铁矿石实物账面总亏吨7.24万t，另报垫底料4. 08万t（即分不清品种的铺底料）；分品种亏吨情况：澳粉6万t、瑞典粉2万t、进口块矿1万t、球团矿1. 5万t，按当时平均矿价1100元/t测算，铁矿石实物盘亏约1.2亿元，造成当月及年度盈利目标需作大幅度调整，而且铁矿石实物盘亏严重影响了成本核算数据的真实性，给生产运营决策带来困难，因比必须深入分析铁矿石亏吨的原因，及时采取相应措施
