明清时期江南运河区域水神信仰文化述略

摘要：明清时期江南运河区城是水神信仰较为盛行的区域，其中既有与运河航运、治水新雨密切相关的金龙凹大王、晏公、龙神等全国性水神，还有包括潮神、湖神以及各种乡土神在内的众多区域性水神。此外，还有承载福建商
特征.水神信仰与所在区域的地理和社会环境有着密切关系，崇祀水神在作为应对水早灾害重要手段的同时，在促进官民互动、强化地域认同方面亦发挥了显著作用.区域社会的复杂性造就了信仰对象的多元性，神灵信仰又反过
来对区域社会生活产生影响，二者相互作用，使得水神信仰文化呈现出显著的地域特色关键词：明清；江南；运河区域；水神信仰

Abstract : During the Ming and Qing Dynasties , in Jiangnan canal region , the worship for Water Godswas prevalent , inclu-ding the national water godls such as Jinlong Great Kings , Yan Gong , Dragon God, which were elosely related to canal ship ping, water controlling and rain praying , combined with regional water gods , like Tide God, Lake God and various native gods. In addition, there was also the worship for Goddess Mazu religion , reflecting its regional culture and the friendship hetween Fujian businessmen . The diversity of beliefs and the universality of groupswere important features of Water God worship in Jiangnan canal region . The worship for Water Godswere closely related to the geographical and social environ -ment of the region , which was treated as an important means of dealing with flood and drought disasters , at the same time, also played a significant role in promoting the interaction between officials and the public , and the strengthening of regional identity. The complexity of regional society has created the diversity of belief objects , and the worship for godshas in turn
affected the social life of the region , endowing the belief in Water Gods prominent regional characteristics . Key words:Ming and Qing Dynasties ; Jiangnan ; canal area; Water God worship
